Hello and welcome back to the Hundred family and week 2 for the fall season. When we were with the family last week it was announced Ginger Hundred would be our heiress, she had her birthday, became valedictorian, there was prom, some promotions, and Ginger and Kendall dated. Let’s dig into week 2!!

We start week 2 with some sort of celebration. I cannot remember what was getting celebrated, but Ginger did get accepted into university so I believe she will go this week at some point.

Regan started into a midlife crisis, she also got the call for adventure. She gets a few things that she will be able to complete so we might play a bit more with her midlife crisis this time around while we wait for Ginger to be able to go to uni.

One of the first things Regan wanted to do was to explore the Sylvan Glade, much like Joaquin needed to. So we send both of them over to the tree and have Regan get to the point she can enter the glade and send them both through.

Regan needed to collect critters so she tried fishing and searching for frogs, but sadly found none at all. Joaquin had a bit more luck with fishing. Regardless it’s a beautiful area so the couple enjoys a bit of time there and then heads back home.

Regan gets home to find this guy on her front walk, which is great as she still needed to talk to an elder about her fear of death. Soon she and Joaquin will be elders themselves, but it’s nice for her to lose that fear before then.

Regan and Joaquin get themselves the first, that I can remember, Close Dynamic I’ve had in any of my saves. I love that these two are close as it makes a lot of sense for them to get this dynamic.

It’s Joaquin’s birthday and he becomes our first elder in this family. Regan sings her heart out at him while he spins into grey hair. He’s still a very handsome man, and when we get back to this house I’ll probably give him a makeover.

These two are very close and still very much in love with each other. I think they have made the most of their lives together and I am very happen that Regan found Joaquin in those early days. Once Ginger is back at home we will work on expanding the house, and with the new pack, MAYBE they will live in their own little offshoot building.

Saffron and Ginger start joking around and Saffron decides at that moment that he likes Jokes. Feels like an obvious choice for Saffron. Ginger is getting ready to head out to university and I think the family will miss her.

Ginger decides on her classes, she will be taking 3 classes this semester, and she will be moving to university housing, at least for now. I decided to put her into a History degree, and she was able to get into the distinguished degree program.

When Ginger gets into her new dorm she chooses a room and gets started on her homework right away. Classes do not start until Tuesday, and it’s currently Monday, so it’s a good time to start. Her needs are super high right now so she can get all her homework done in one day.

Once she does her homework it’s time for some fun. Ginger meets her roommate and they head into the main room and play some ping pong together. Ginger manages to beat her, but only barely. I think these two could end up decent friends.

Once the ping pong game is done Ginger finds a turkey dinner someone brought into the dorm, not sure where it came from, but Ginger grabs a plate. She sits in the main room watching TV with some of the other dorm mates that have arrived.

After dinner Ginger starts work on her term papers, knowing that she will need to edit them once she has taken a few classes, but might as well get as much of a head start as she can get. Once that is done she heads down to the little university vendor and picks up a few things, including a bike.

Once she is back in her room Ginger takes a bit of a nap and then has a new ping pong match with her roommate. This time she loses. This will be a fun activity for these two to try now and then.

Classes start the next day and Ginger heads out to class. She actively listens in all of her classes for the day and feels like she is really learning a lot in school already. I haven’t played a ton with university yet, but I want to try and do a lot of things with her.

After classes, Ginger heads back home to celebrate her mom’s birthday. Regan is joining Joaquin as an elder, and she brought Kendall with her. Sadly Kendall wasn’t able to stay long, but Ginger had a good time celebrating with the family and seeing them all.

Once Ginger is home for the evening it’s back to working on studying for classes and getting more homework done. She only has a single class the next day, so hopefully we can get all the homework done quickly and stay on top of it.

Ginger studies a lot, and works diligently on all of her homework. She is detemrined to get A’s in class. There are plenty of places to study and read at the dorms, but that also means there are always people around.

It’s not all work for Ginger, but plenty of play too. In fact she may be my first sim ever to max out Video Gaming. This comes with a new achievement, Games Within Games. This is very exisiting for me! Way to go Ginger!

It’s HarvestFest, but sadly that doesn’t stop university courses in sims. So Ginger diligently heads to her classes for the day. Luckily her classes all end shortly into the afternoon and that means she can do something to celebrate!

Like head home for a good HarvestFest grand meal. Regan, Joaquin, and Saffron are all happy to see Ginger, even though it wasn’t that long ago she was here for her mom’s birthday. Still, they have a good time hanging out, watching sports, and eating a meal together. Ginger also decides, likely thanks to her father and brother, that she also likes mischief. It was a great holiday.

Getting a little sick of food she could microwave in her room Ginger heads out to the commons to get some better food. One of her dormmates was studying, so she sat down and they chatted a little bit before Ginger went back to the dorm.

There was an e-sport commetition that evening, and since we know Ginger is great at video games I had her attened. I thought she would enjoy the competition and she did.

The next day started off quietly with both Ginger and her roommate working on various schoolwork. Later they went out into the common room and hung out. It was a quiet morning, but then we got the notice that the debate team was going to have an event.

Ginger’s roommate is part of the debate team so she went down to check it out. Sadly her roommate wasn’t competing this day, but Ginger enjoyed watching the debates that occurred. It’s fun to visit and watch these various events.

One of Ginger’s other dormmates asked her to play ping pong and Ginger jumped at the chance. She lost, unfortaunatly, but that’s all right, she had fun anyway.

Soon there was a new sporting event and this time Ginger and her roommate went and had some fun with the pre-game cheering. Ginger then attended the game, and got some fun moodlets about school pride.

All the fun over the holiday weekend might have been a bit too much for Ginger as the poor girl passed out right outside her dorm room. Luckily the dorm was pretty quiet, so there wasn’t anyone around to see.

Ginger heads back to the commons to do some various research on things, and I also have her provide some knowledge of Research and Debate, as she almost has that maxed as well. During this time Ginger decides she likes research and debate.

Later that day Ginger is back to microwave meals but also take some time out to read a book. Being a geek and a genius she really enjoys things like reading. She sits down with a good book and reads the afternoon away.

That evening she tries her hand at making an offering for acedemic success. Nothing seems to happen and I’m pretty sure it’s because I used an uncommon crystal instead of a rare one. She doens’t have any good baked goods to try with.

The final morning of the semester Ginger heads back to the commons for breakfast and then does some research about the univeritiy lore. She learns some funny stories before heading off to her final exam. She turned in her term papers the day before and spends the afternoon relaxing with some chess and then more ping pong.

And thus wraps up our first semester at university. Now I saved and prepared to switch families at 5:30 PM, grades do not come in until 6 PM. If you do not save before that you are forced to pick the next classes and such, however, switching at 5:30 should cause Ginger to go into a state of limbo until we get back to her. I wanted to see her grades though so I let the clock run until we get them, but leave without saving again. Ginger did great!

That wraps up the fall for the Hundred family. With the new pack coming out I will probably set up some new fun university housing options and Ginger and Kendall will probably live in one of those. I had a lot of fun trying out various parts of university this round and I hope you enjoyed following Ginger. Next up we switch over to the Petal family, where we will find out who is heir!
